True Wood Design, Inc. is an owner-operated custom woodworking and yacht fabrication company based at Derecktor Fort Pierce, Florida — specializing in custom fabrication, restoration, and precision manufacturing for luxury yachts, with the majority of our work on vessels between 100 and 300+ feet.

Aaron & Lydia

The team behind the work

True Wood Design is run by Aaron and his wife, Lydia. On the majority of projects, it's the two of us doing the work — hands-on, start to finish. For larger projects we bring in additional skilled craftspeople, but the standard never changes.

We're based at Derecktor Fort Pierce and willing to travel for the right jobs. Whether dockside, in our CNC-equipped shop, or onsite from our solar-powered mobile shop, we engineer each project specifically for the vessel while maintaining the appearance and quality expected aboard world-class yachts.

Solar-Powered Mobile Shop

A workshop that comes to the dock.

Our mobile shop — a custom wood-bodied truck running on solar power — lets us perform a wide range of precision work onsite and dockside. It keeps projects moving, reduces downtime, and means much of our work can be done without removing components from the vessel.
